So the mens team final is Baylor versus Florida

Baylor - Charles Broom; Finn Bass;

Florida - Joshua Goodger

Finn and Charlie won their doubles although Baylor didnt get the doubles point. Charlie lost his singles to fellow Brit Giles Hussey but Baylor still won through and Hussey and johannus Monday went out for Tennessee.

I didnt see how Josh Goodger got on with his matches but Florida won their semi comfortably.

So we have some Brits to shout for in the final.

 6. Josh Goodger (UF) vs. Evin McDonald (TEX) 2-6, 6-4, 3-4 *unfinished*

Lord, Ali Gray has drawn Daniel Cukierman - I know him well, that's a tough ask (used to be about ATP 500, really hard to beat). Allez Ali !

Don't know about the others - thanks for posting it, EP - is there a girls' one too?

I cannot find a link to the womens singles bracket.

Yes Ali G has a tough draw hmm  I wonder how the draw was done?  Surprised James Davies was selected as there are a number of players (including Brits ) who have a higher ranking; he has drawn one of the seeds. If both James D and Connor T win their matches they will meet in the second round...

ITA seeds with conference. SEC has a record number of seeds - suggestion that there will be some interesting first round matches.........

James Davies selected through the automatic qualification rule for conferences with players in the Top 125. See page 6 of this thread

Seemingly, the women's is being released at the normal time.

But the men's got released a day early because:

That should say men's singles draw is out. Released a day early due to BYU's Sean Hill getting a Saturday night match time due to his school's policy of not playing on Sunday, the first day of singles play for everyone else.

I'm not sure I really agree with the policy - I don't see why concessions should be made to Christian schools (and - I'm assuming - not to other religious schools).

Mens tennis final 2021 Baylor vs Florida
Bobby Knight says:
Baylor into the NCAA Final for the third time 2005 (lost to UCLA); 2004 (def. UCLA)
Florida is into the NCAA Final for the first time ever
Singles Breakdown (UF/BU)
Duarte Vale has won 3 straight/Adrian Boitan has won 5 straight and 11 of his last 12
Sam Riffice has won 4 of his last 5/Matias Soto has won 6 of his last 8
Andy Andrade has won 4 straight/Sven Lah has won his last 4 matches
Blaise Bicknell is 23-0 in dual-match play/Nick Stachowiak has won his last 2 after losing his previous 3
Ben Shelton has won 5 of his last 6/Charlie Broom has won 10 of his last 13 (lost last two)
Josh Goodger is 15-0 in dual-match play and has only dropped 5 sets/Spencer Furman has won 14 straight matches (13 in straight sets)
Prediction: This is the matchup that most of us wanted to see #1 vs. #2. Both teams have been good but not great in doubles and both have won matches in the last two days when theyve dropped the opening point. As with the case in many of these tight matches I have the team that wins the doubles point winning the match. I like Vale, Bicknell, and Shelton in singles for Florida and Soto, Lah, and Furman for Baylor Florida 4-3
You can follow the mens match with live scoring and streaming video is available on The Tennis Channel.

I still think Baylor can win, they have strength and depth in their team with 4 graduate students including Charlie (who has lost his last two singles matches hmm ). My prediction Baylor to win the dubs point then Baylor 4-3......

Top seed Florida men's win the NCAA Championships defeating No.2 seed Baylor 4-1. Brit Josh Goodger won his singles at no.6

Charlie Broom & Finn Bass won their doubles match helping Baylor secure the doubles point. Unfortunately Charlie lost singles at no.5

R1: Will Davies and Oliver Okonkwo face the number 2 seeds cry I really wanted to see them reach the final as this will be the last mens tennis season at Iowa.......Emile Hudd +1 will face David Stevenson and Oscar Cutting. Other Brits playing are the Auburn pair of Tad Mac lean and Finn Murgett,  Tulane pairing of Hamish Stewart and  Ewan Moore and  Ali Gray +1 seeded #4 and Connor Thompson + 1.

Says a lot about the quality of opposition.

hopes rest on Johannus Monday and James Davis ( the link refers to him as Daivs).
