Harriet just got into quals 9 days ago, but she'll likely be a high seed by the time play gets underway.
At the moment it looks like she is 5 out from MD, what a shame others didn't enter, this would've been a good PR for Katie, maybe she has none left.
Looking at Spiceboy's post from 4 hours ago, I'm hoping she stays in qualifying - could be some generous points at stake relative to potential opposition level.
Harriet ended up top seed in quals, and drew a 16 year old opponent who I had never heard of, presumably a QWC:
(1)Dart v Gailis
Stewart v (14)Min
She could face Min in the FQR, who she lost to in AO quals, but hopefully she'll be more match ready now. Mind, that Stewart did win a fairly big ITF event not too long ago. Anyway, that's all for down the line, and the young'un up first.
Joe and Rajeev as well as Jonny and Ken have withdrawn from Cagliari. Lloyd and Harri are still first odds whilst pairs go through with process of repairing , presumably to allow Jonny to find a possible alternative partner. Not sure who of Joe and Rajeev withdrew but maybe Jonny could repair with the fit one of them?

Wolf posted on the previous page that according to Harris blog Lloyd has now joined up with Jonny for this week.

Sorry, yes, Id read and commented and promptly forgot that!

And have been replaced by Golubev & Nedovyesov (KAZ/KAZ) & Rodionov & Stebe (AUT/GER) respectively.

Neither of those pairs are on the draw sheet I'm looking at.

That's probably because the Kazakhs at least are the top seeds in the Split Challenger! Wiki got it wrong!
Beth Grey has appeared as top qualifying seed in Sharm, despite withdrawing from the tournament previously. Might have been a main draw seed if she'd stayed on the list.
Looks like her FQR opponent is 0-16 in her 5 year career.
I'm sure I've seen qualifiers who would have been seeded, end up seeded in the main draw, or have I imagined that?
https://www.tennisexplorer.com/player/yakimakho/?annual=2020 - pretty much a 0/1-6 type, although she has managed 2 sets (in different matches) against the same player.

3 qualifying rounds so Beth will have one further round. She is bracketed with the q9 seed.
Yes, it has sometimes happened that qualifiers have been seeded in the main draw when that draw has been done after qualifying has been completed.
