I've now heard back from StirCrazy - she thanks everyone for their concern and has said that she is happy for me to post what follows.
Unfortunately, she has been in hospital on and off since shortly before Christmas, so she has no access to a computer and I don't think she has a smartphone either, so that explains why she hasn't posted anything since mid-December. She says she is feeling better in herself now but there is no immediate end in sight, with a fair amount of rehab ahead of her.
She has been desperate for news of the AO and was delighted when copies of Metro arrived this morning, devouring all the tennis news, but that was a one-off. So I've said I'll text her if anything significant happens and that she's welcome to text me any questions too.
I also asked if there was anything else she needed that could be sent to her at the hospital but she says two of her neighbours are being wonderful helping out, so that's really good to hear. (as I also know myself, all the things people say about nobody caring about their neighbours in London is quite a long way from the truth!)
I can well imagine SC taking a determined approach to any type of rehab, so with any luck, she'll achieve the best outcome possible and be back with us at some point in the not too distant future. If she wants any messages passed on in the meantime, I'll post them on this thread.

Sorry to hear she has been unwell but glad she is on the other side of it of sorts and that she is being looked after. All the best for her rehab and hope she is back here nitpicking our accents (or lack thereof ) soonest.
Yes, ditto to the comments here. Thanks Steven, for making contact! Sorry to hear SC has not been well, but hopefully she will make a good recovery. And hopefully good news on the tennis front will keep her spirits up!
My very best wishes to her too.
