 The only positive is that I don't think she would have said in advance if she were going on a break - she's had a little holiday before, a couple of times, and not told anyone (no criticism)

 I was thinking of having a post on the men's thread? Since SC tended to almost exclusively post/read there. But I haven't always gotten on with them so I'm not the best person to post such a thing.

 Thing is she - I am certain SC is a she - hasnt accessed the forum for 3 weeks according to their profile , so not sure theyd read it?  I wasnt sure if we put email addresses with our accounts when we signed up, and whether a mod might know how to email her using that ? Or if her name was known, maybe shed have a Facebook account or be on some other form of social media?

I haven't met SC, unfortunately, but I have got her phone number from 3 years ago (hopefully still current) when we were trying to sort out a problem with her home IP address getting banned for some unknown reason and her only being able to get in on her work address. Hopefully she's fine, e.g.feeling under the weather, away for a bit or taking a well-earned break from the board a while, but we all like make sure that our regulars are ok, so I'll message her later today.

I hope you all haven't been letting your standard of English slide too much while she's been away  and glad the board hasn't completely collapsed without her, since I'm well aware how much work she puts in here.

 Thanks Steven, fingers crossed for good news. Yes, SC is a sort of marmite presence but Id say incredibly important to the board and much missed
