So at the end of the second week, I make the overall standings to be:-
Hard to not see Emily as qualified for the finals. Shes probably what 7k so far , not sure if there pounds or dollars. But I guess 8 weeks of that through the season and the finals week bonanza would be quite an attractive proposition for her!
It's £8,500. At the momnet I only know that it is £3,750 for the winner, £3,000 for the runner-up - plus £500 appearance fee. When I find out the other prizes, I'll update my spreadsheet and post it.
After 8 weeks of qualifiers, the top 9 players in the League Standings qualify for the Final week along with 3 wildcards.
The Final League week will have fewer matches with rest days built in for players across the 7 days.
The competition delivers a total of 12 matches each day during qualifying weeks running from Monday through Sunday. With 8 matches per day in the Final League Week, there are a total of 728 matches across the Series.
No guaranteed entry, top 9 in the league, although the top four at the moment have probably done enough. Just remember though, Emma had a wildcard into the last classic week (along with Harriet) and ran off with the top prize. Naomi, Jodie and a few others haven't played yet - in fact there were 35 participants in the whole series.

Do you think 20 points will qualify, TA? Any idea who ends up winner of the whole shebang? Is it the league winner at end of week 8? Or the classic winner? Or are there points in the classic week as well to add to weeks 1 to 8 and that crowns a winner ? Or is there no overall winner?!
The top 6 qualifiers at St Georges ranged from 44 to 25 points from 5 events. The points for the top 4 each week have gone up, and there are 8 weeks not 5, so I would guess that 40 points would be around the mark, and another good week for Emily would make sure.
The overall winner is the winner of Classic Week (cf Emma). Nothing carried forward from the 8 weeks

Yeah id thought mid 30s to 40 as well and reckon Appleton is home. thanks re comment on winner. Classic week it is then! Perhaps people can attend in person by then as well!
on a similar vein, ta, do you know if the British Tour will kick off again after maybe June? Any insights?
Nottingham, Woking and Felixstowe (all Grade 2) are on the calendar for May, and Nottingham is taking entries.
Ok, great - is there a calendar? Ive searched the lta site but not found anything i recall last year lots of debates about how the lta site seemed to cause lots of disjointed routes to get info on the British Tour!
