Beth won 6 games in a row from 2-4, then lost 6 games in a row. Far to many errors today, but survived to top the group and qualify for the semis with a match in hand.
Eight (or was it 9 ?) games in a row for Emily as she crushes Freya 4 & 0 to top the pool and book her place in the semis.
Second place is still up for grabs. Eliz plays Liv today, and a win will take her through. If she loses, then it'll be between Eliz, Freya and Liv, with Freya having the best chance.
Danielle's done a lot better this week. I kind of dismissed her at the start of the week as she had so many 0 and 1 sets throughout last year, didn't get past 4 games in any of her 5 group match defeats here the other week, and her odds are always pretty long (like today vs Kylie - just saw 10Bet had her at a massive 8.25...), but that's 2 decent wins for her. She lost 3 and 0 to Beth in their pro series match last year, but with Beth safely through as group winner, and a couple of wins under her belt, who knows how that one will go tomorrow.

Hmm, Alice vs Tanysha means it's pretty likely that it'll 1) Beth, 2) Alice, and with that match first, there won't be much suspense for the later matches.
Alice comes through, to finish on 10 points, and just enough to make the semi-finals. A straight sets win for Nadia or Danielle will tie them on points, but will not be enough as Alice would go through on head to head having beaten them both earlier in the week

So Emily (or Eliz) v Alice and Beth v Eliz (or Emily) in semis, depending on how the E v E head to head match turns out?
