Week 11 - ITF (W15) Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt Hard

Lily's CH was just last week - and then she went on to win Sharm. A player on form.
But Lissey was looking good at Loughborough. Just a pity that Sharm is never streamed.

Battle of the young'uns tomorrow. Isabella was the one who beat Naomi B recently. Well I say the one, the one of many in truth, but the Kruger anyway, as there seems to be a few more of that name on tour at the moment.

Let's hope they make up in time for the doubles tomorrow. Unfortunate draw for Lissey.

Matilda took the 1st set 6-2 although it did take over an hour so obviously a little closer than the scoreline suggests

Matilda won by 6-2 6-4.

Though as emmsie indicated there were a lot of tight games, particularly in the first set. Overall almost half the games went to deuce and there were 144 points in all (78-66) so an average of 8 points a game ( it was over 9 in the first set ).

Well played Matilda.

Given Kruger is only 15, and only JR 425, she must be a very decent player.

I looked on her Bio, she started playing adult matches in 2019, maybe not really focussed on Junior that much.
