Was absolutely nip and tuck the whole way until they took the last 3 points. Deserves a nice glass of red this evening!

Surprised the other Brits pulled out of a very open draw but their loss is obviously Emily's gain.

Does she get any LTA support? IIRC She wasn't involved in any of the Battle of the Brits/Progress Tour/UK Pro League tournaments last summer.

I don't think she get's any LTA support (I believe just trained at home, no supplied gym equipment etc). And didn't feature in any of those tournaments. Just as well she decided to travel !

The other Brits:-
Fran - played in Adelaide, on the lists for Argentina later this month (22nd)
Naiktha - playing Argentina
Katie - in Monterrey now, for next week
Jodie - injured
Tara - in Argentina at end of month, but I think I saw somewhere she didn't travel due to quarantine rules

So maybe not so unexpected.

The singles semi finals are scheduled for 10am local - which I believe is 4:30am in the UK.

The doubles final is at 4:10pm - or 11am in the UK.

Was expecting it to be a bit closer than that, maybe 3 & 2. Oh well, onto the doubles.
