As the commentator said, the match of the tournament !

Super match from Luke Johnson and Jack FH

Luke wins, 6-4 6-7 12-10

But Luke turned his ankle at the end (which I saw) and it's not better today. So he's pulled out, replaced by Mason Recci.

(Two players to twist their ankles - is the court a bit sticky? Some can be. Do they have the right shoes?)

Supposedly, Mason jumped in his car earlier this morning, and bombed down from Birmingham, and has only just walked through the door, and straight onto court

3 out 12 down now? As Sean replaced Julian before it started, unless the lists on Sunday were incorrect.

Mason nearly 'did a Stuart'

Was 3-6 1-5 down and got it back to win the second set, and into a MTB, and had a match point....

But Josh P ended up winning, 12-10

Great spirit between the two, though, it seemed, nice to see

Empathic win for Dan Cox over Andrew Watson 6-0 6-0. 35 minutes of play. In a tournament like this where you have 7 days of play in a row I guess a short match like that can only be a good thing for being fresh for the rest of the week.

On the assumption that if level on points the H2h record is the decider. If Billy drops a set in his match against Mark Whitehouse Dan will have qualified for a top 2 finish in the pool.

Josh plays Jack f-h today so that effectively a knock out and Anton looks secure. With George playing Dan Cox, youve got to favour Dan , and Billy in the other group with Anton and one of Josh or Jack to join them in the semis?
