Dominant again from Swiatek. 6-2 6-2 over Bencic in little over an hour. Match started nicely until Bencic literally handed her the first break by serving 4 DFs in a game that didn't even go to deuce.

Nice to see Iga back up that slam with her second title, and hopefully she can properly establish herself as a top top player, and differentiate herself a bit from some of the other better players.

Swiatek will rise 3 places on Monday to a CH 15 overtaking, among others, Jo who will drop a place to WR 17.

2 weeks later, 15/03, sees the first 2019 points dropping off. Jo just has 65 Indian Wells points due off then. It's when her 2019 clay season points start dropping off that she is in big rankings downturn danger, with Wimbledon and US Open QF points later on.
