Will he stay on it though?

Sadly not.  Kyle has withdrawn.

Women's ITF entries

W15+H Amiens - Q4 Sarah Beth Grey
W15 Sharm El Sheikh - M9 Katy Dunne, Q18 Tara Moore
W15 Monastir - JE Matilda Mutavdzic
W15 Manacor - M9 Amanda Carreras
W25 Pune - M2 Francesca Jones, M4 Jodie Burrage, M17 Tara Moore, M19 Emily Webley-Smith - I'll be surprised if any of them make the trip for a single tournament, not for W25 prize money

Plenty of withdrawals, just leaving the following, with little chance of the remaining other alternates getting in

W15 Monastir - Q4 Emilie Lindh

W25 Pune - M2 Francesca Jones, M4 Jodie Burrage, M17 Tara Moore, M19 Emily Webley-Smith

Theyre not going there for the prize money but the potential points that coul be gained from a W25 in India that a lot of players will swerve.

Fran and Jodie possibly as they will be seeded - Tara and Emily unlikely.

W25s are so out of line in points against prize money, meaning players must often have difficult choices. The tendency is for mini challenger type fields chasing futures prize money. But yes this is likely to be a weaker field.

Right now with the situation that a lot of players are in where it's almost impossible to climb the rankings and get into better tournaments because no one is losing points, it's important to be pragmatic and play the long game. The cut off for the W25 in Pune is not much different than for the W15 in Spain and it will probably be a lot cheaper hotel wise aswell as having a much bigger potential payback long term.

The only woman left in the ITF's this week is EWS who hasn't withdrawn from Pune, after telling me a couple of weeks ago it wasn't worth the trip. She's now up to M10 in the list.

Sashi Kempster is second alternate in Sharm, with Jasmine COnway fifth alternate. Soumeya Anane is third alternate in Antalya.

Surely a lot are now based back in the UK to play the Pro league swing.

I don't know how the prize money breaks down (has anyone got that info?) but if the pot is over half a million in total, there must be a fair bit to go round.

Makes sense to focus on that and not points in some farflung place.

Well looking at the players at Loughborough, and those that are scattered elsewhere around the world, there seem to be a lot missing this week. Only Harriet is playing out of the top 17 GB players. Maybe some of them will appear for the second week in Loughborough statring March 15th.
