Thought we might be about to witness a great escape as they saved two match points nicely from 7-9* and went 10-9* up, but Sofia just went wide with a kind of reflex squat half volley, then dragged a shot wide to lose the match. 

Emily had strapping on her left forearm, hopefully just a precaution. German pair were really solid, hadn't expected such a tight match from them given their rankings. 

Back to France next week for the 25k, and they are third out from the WTA event in Lyon the week after. Worth a punt!
