Week 6 - Australian Open, Melbourne, Australia Hard

She seems a bit distracted at the moment. I think that without the stoppage shed probably be in the semis now.

Agree totally.

Fully deserved break from Muchova there. Seems very focused and mixing it up well. Hardly any UE now as well. This is a match now, what a change.

It's kind of flip reversed a bit in terms of errors, but yes, much more of a spectacle. Very interesting deciding set coming up - did NOT expect to say that 45 mins or so ago.

Crazy turnaround for Muchova to win the set. Barty just hasn't settled after the injury time out - I expect a big reaction from her now though.

And serves it out for 6-3 second set. This is a fascinating contest, Its almost like a switch has went on mentally from one side of the net to the other. The point where Muchova volleyed 5 times and Barty returned was great to watch.

It was an amazing point - the best of the tournament?

Could be up there Andy.

But wow what a game there to break at the start of the set for 1-0. 4 perfect points she is barely missing a ball and some great decision making shots here. Joy to watch at the moment.

Nope, no way Andy. Someone on TF said that Muchova was 150/1 'in play' at her worst stage, I didn't see that to know if true, but it was 10/11 vs 10/11 before Muchova started serving here. Real pick'em at them moment. I honestly can't believe the turnaround, although 2 break back points...

Just pleased we've actually got a contest. Unless you were massively wanting Barty to win, no 2 ways about it (in terms of wanting her to win, not the next point), a 6-1 6-1 type blow out when one is so below par is never great viewing.

Huge hold there from *0-30. Even in this crazy match, having to come back from from a double break in the decider would have been tough.

Barty looks so rattled - almost in panic mode, I think.

5-2 double break Muchova. Barty has completely collapsed here and Muchova is ruthless just now.

Can she serve it out?

I've stuck a fiver on Barty, just in case. Think Muchova needs more Barty errors.
