I used to think that we were forever ever, ever
And I used to say, "never say never"
Ah, so he calls me up and he's like, "I still love you"
And I'm like, I'm just, I mean this is exhausting, you know?
Like we are never getting back together, like, ever

 Absolute banger

Im quite proud of that !

3 full sets. My opinions on doubles are known but do away with the third set super tie break and play 3 full sets. That should only be used at 6-6 in the third set across both disciplines.

So final set TB as well? You have argued in the past for no Slam final set TBs, let the men play 5 sets with no final set TB, got to break to win, battle of the fittest etc

Fair dos if you've come round to TBs in all sets.

Yes I think I may be coming round Indy, Im maybe undecided for say the latter stages. There could be a compromise perhaps initially and keep 5 sets for the quarters or semis onwards. I was strongly in favour of keeping the statusquo but I think more and more people are changing their minds. There are far too many injuries at the moment.

Certainly if anyone receives any DM from another forum member that they feel is abusive or threatening they can copy me or another moderator in.

The way the game has played has changed and a three set mens match can be 3 hours and , generally, thats enough. Im for 3 sets in first week and also 5 sets quarters onwards. With final set tie break for sure, none of this contrived 12 games all stuff.

Yes, I've always been for TBs at the same stage in all sets and 6-6 works for me. I still though tend to be for 5 sets in all men's singles rounds in Slams, but I do wish Wimbledon would get rid of best of 5 sets doubles matches

although one who loves doubles , I agree, 5 sets throughout isnt needed. Should be 5 sets qf onwards in doubles and singles

The list of Black American female tennis players excludes the name of Andrea Buchanan. She played at Wimbledon in the early 80's. She was shot dead in Los Angeles in January 1982 and her murderer was never found. Brief details of the circumstances of her death are included in the book  "Charging the Net " -A History of Blacks in Tennis  from Althea Gibson and Arthur Ashe to the Williams sisters . The book was published in 2007 and James Blake did the foreword. I purchased the book whilst  on holiday in Canada.
