Second set running away from Fran. Only won a couple of points

4-6 0-4*

She's shown some impressive stuff today though. Came out and gave it a go.

Jo *4-3 but in a scrap.

Fran loses 64 61. Not a bad effort at all, and very good for her to see where she needs to build to keep moving forward.

Jo missed two set points and called the physio after missing a smash.

*5-4 15-15

Great exoerience for Fran but no doubt she will be disappointed by the thumping she took in the second set.

I expect she'll go away wirh the aim to be back, to be back better.

Very unfortunate for Jo. Hope she's ok. She could have done with a couple of wins here and the draw for the first couple of matches was pretty generous.

Disappointing end to the day!

Am I mistaken - in Frans match, set 2 and her first service game with the score at 0-30, it looked like a ball was a foot out but wasnt called. Fran complained to no avail so 0-40 then lost the game and eventually the set. I was watching Dans match so not entirely focussed but if so, it was a huge mistake.
