In the meantime I think the main draw is  now scheduled  for overnight at 3.00 GMT.  It  has been moved  back from early on Thursday morning British time.

It was on the Tennis Forum site for Australian Open 2021. Probably best to delete this thread and start again with the correct draw when it appears.

You can just delete your original post by editing it and erasing the text, and then putting in the correct draw when it is made?!

They have a weird habit of changing the title of a thread rather than starting a new one. Confused the life out of me.

The WTA website does claim that this is Niculescu's CH for singles. But, it's not. That's her doubles CH.
Her singles CH is 28, week of 27th Feb, 2012.
That is correctly displayed on the WTA website, but only if you drill into the'Rankings History' section.

I only mention it as a caution that all players on the WTA site whose doubles CH is better than their single CH may have wrong information in the summary section. ITF have the correct data however.

The Guardian's website says it is scheduled for afternoon Melbourne time - if it was 3 am I might stay up and wait for the info to appear, but if it is 6-9 am UK time, that means go to bed now  for me and wake up to hear the news. Really hoping that Fran and Katie B get winnable matches, and Heather and Jo fare well too, but for Katie B and Fran, win a match or two and they will shoot up the rankings, so the draw is much more crucial to them than Heather or Jo, I think. Can't wait for it to start - it is my second favourite tournament after Wimbledon, as I finish work each night at midnight and then get to see it all live for a few hours, for everyone else I am sure that Aussie time is a pain in the proverbial.

R1: (Q) Francesca Jones CR 245, CH = 241 (Nov 2020) vs Shelby Rogers (USA) CR 57, CH = 48 (Jan 2017)

R1: Kristyna Pliskova (CZE) CR 71, CH = 35 (July 2017) vs Heather Watson CR 58, CH = 28 (Jan 2015)

R1: (Q) Kaja Juvan (SLO) CR 104, CH = 100 (Oct 2020) vs (13) Johanna Konta CR 14, CH = 4 (Jul 2017)

R1: (PR?) Katie Boulter CR 315, CH = 82 (Feb 2019) vs Daria "Dasha" Kasatkina (RUS) CR 73, CH = 10 (Oct 2018)

Have used current rankings as per https://live-tennis.eu/en/wta-live-ranking

If anyone could tell me where to find h2h's either on WTA website or elsewhere, will add them if/where necessary.

Overall - could've been better, could've been a lot worse (at least all of Fran, Heather & Katie) have avoided seeds immediately in R1.
