The ITF has confirmed that the ITF Wheelchair end of season "Masters" events will be held in early November in Florida - looks like same location that the Colleges are playing the NCAA Championships discussed elsewhere
coming up in the near future are some large events - the french open, the french riviera open follows, which is a super series event, then wimbledon and then the british open in bolton, which is also a super series event.
ahead of that, starting on 25th may, is the open des hauts in le touquet, which is a warm up event for the french - sort of the queens club to wimbledon - and is a series 1 level, same as the rotterdam event mentioned up this thread. most of the top players will be here so will provide a chance to look at our top players ahead of the big events coming up
Quad Doubles - Andy and Antony lost in the final
quad singles -- Andy Lapthorne into the final, well done. as top seed, he is favoured to win that title
womens singles - jordanne reaches the final (she is seeded 3rd) so well done to her - she plays the Japanese top seed in the final so is the underdog
mens singles - Alfie lost his semi to the Argentinian 2nd seed, sadly wasnt really in it
mens doubles - Alfie and Gordon are into the final, they are top ranked team in the world so should expect to win it.
Jordanne's singles performance is the standout one here, a win in the final would be fantastic.
The French Open prize money is announced as $540k which is impressive. Aussie Open was $140k. The Aussie open in previous years was $300k or more but this years French seems the richest total prize I can see from the itf records.

The French open wheelchair runs from June 4th to 7th. So starts tomorrow. Draw should be up today.
The French Riviera Open, a super series event with $37k prize money and 24 draw singles follows from 8th to 13th June.
Two big weeks for the wheelchair players.
there are then several series 2 events in later June including a British Grass Court event with 8 player draws at a venue that the itf site doesnt show, but the event seems newly created.

Jordanne also lost opening round, again to a Japanese player.
Just Alfie and Andy L left in singles. All 4 Brits in doubles still. Although play hasnt started!
Yes, Jordanne lost to the #2 seed, Yui Kamiji, with whom she has had a lot of doubles success, and they are again paired together here as the #2 doubles seeds.
i find it interesting that the slams are strict 8 player singles draws - if you look at the itf wheelchair tour calendar, many of the wheelchair only events are 24/32 player events - the numbers are there and it is a shame the main events are such light draws
