I take it all back, the way rotterdam have written the score it looks like Gordon won but it is indeed Alfie who won! Mind you same kudos to him with a double title !
Theres a $22k itf series 2 event scheduled for Loughborough week of 22nd March due to be played, week after The next uk pro league. Not sure if its still on but lots of other events around it are cancelled. Presumably our top players and Some strong international ones will play.

One thing Id never realised before, quad wheelchair is actually a mixed sex field. In theory at least. Id often wondered why at events it just said quad and assumed maybe there werent enough womens quad players to make an event. But it seems quad is actually intended as a mixed field. However, historic results seem dominated by the men and hence why it is easy to draw the conclusions above
Draws out for Loughborough wheelchair open, 22 mens singles players, 17 womens and 6 quads. Good array of less well known Brits, Alfie and Gordon top seeds in mens , Jordane is seeded in womens as is Lucy Shuker although no Andy Lapthorne in quads.
If Wimbledon is, well, Wimbledon, The British Open at Bolton is akin to Queens and, thus, this event is like an ATP / WTA 250 level event such as Nottingham etc.

Alfie and Gordon play each other in the mens singles final. They are also into the mens doubles final, as are Lucy shuker and Jordane Whiley. Antony cotterill lost the quads final in 3 tough sets.
Big upset in Loughborough, Gordon got the better of Alfie to take the title , Alfie has been clear British number one , that is a fantastic result for Gordon, who also won the doubles in partnership with Alfie!
