Lovely jubbly: and liked his winners speech also. Just well done Dan.

Yay, though do hope Felix wins a title soon. I felt a bit for the kid as he lost an 8th final and from what I saw in the last few games he wasn't playing as he can.

Dan served for it at 6-2 *5-2 but shanked an overhead at deuce and was then broken. Felix went 30-0 up in the next game but threw in some careless points and Dan saw it out well, breaking to take the title.

Dan will go to a CH 26.

Rest up mate before tomorrow's battle of the Brits.

Way too many errors from FAA. Dan's game was very tidy, the only bad error was the shanked overhead that has already been mentioned.

I love the "Advance 15 seconds" that the Eurosport player offers.  Makes watching a match way quicker when you don't get up in the middle of the night to watch live.

Fantastic achievement from Dan and the way he has played for the last couple of years, we have to say that he fully deserves an ATP title. I certainly didn't expect it to be such a one sided score against FAA but I also didn't realise that FAA was 0-8 in ATP finals.

But this is a moment to celebrate Dan's victory. Let's hope is leads to bigger and even better things. After all, I have him finishing in the Top 20 in the rankings predictions.

Thrilled For Dan, playing out of his skin right now.  Is it possible to put a bet on him reaching the 4th round, ie beating Nadal as I quite fancy his chances if they both make it that far.

Fantastic.

Good to get the title monkey off his back.

TA rate Dan as 5 percent to reach last 16, reckon youd get some decent odds on that bet Emmsie. Worth a crack.

I don't see such a bet anywhere on bet365 though you can ask for odds on things from them and other sites.

bet365 is quoting odds about the stage of elimination for some of the leading players. Nadal is 8/1 to exit in R3.

TA has Rafa 89.9 percent to reach last 16 so similar to 8 to 1 to go out in round 3?

Taking all the rounds bettng  ( eg. Rafa is 25/1 to lose in R1 and 11/1 to lose in R2, they have it just about an 80% chance that Rafa makes it to at least R4.

The slight problem about the 8/1 lose in R3 bet is of course Rafa has to be fit ( and that's another question ) and win R1 and R2. I assume such a bet would be null and void if he withdraws before his R1 match.
