Harriet is at home in London, but is training. Not seen anything about any of the others for some time.

Maia was in Scotland in early January. Other than Harriet, no recent posts on Instagram from any of them nor any indication of training/injury/other.

Will the players in Potchefstroom have to quarantine in hotels coming back or are elite sportsmen/women exempted?

This is a good question!  They will not be exempted because they are (elite?) sports people, I'm sure of that. When they committed themselves to playing in South Africa, the quarantine / red list was probably not in place. My understanding is that you are not permitted to return the England (not sure re. other UK countries) without quarantining in a government approved hotel if you have been in a red list country in the previous 10 days.  A much preferable option would be to go to a north African country, maybe Maroc or Tunisia. It would not be more expensive than staying in a crappe hotel airport, and they would be free, could work on their tan, do some fitness and if they travel with their fellow tennis players, I'm sure there would be plenty of tennis clubs happy to let them use their facilities for a modest cost.

I'm looking forward to the world getting back to normal....

Id imagine most of those in SA will be going off to other tournaments. So the UK restrictions wont come into play. I think apart from Peniston every one is down for somewhere the week after.

Yes, the three girls are heading to Sharm in the following week, and are on the list for the week after that.
