Yes, going to be a while. Approaching 3 hours in the first match, and back on serve, although it is *4-5

though camera angle not the best. The player furthest away seems terribly far away!

Yep, the ITF stream won't work for me either but Bet365 is fine

Eva won the first set 6-4

Probably a fair score - it was very close but Eva just edged it

And Katie ended up losing 4 & 2

But it was very good tennis, in my view, the second set was a lot tighter than the score (although, again, Eva certainly edged it)

Promising start to 2021 for Katie

It must be irritating though when an opponent you beat in qualifying ends up going further along in the tournament as a lucky loser than you do.

Naiktha and Rutuja appear to have got a walkover into the doubles semi-final - their opponents must have had enough - Bolkvadzve is still in the singles but Gorgodze lost yesterday.

Naomi and Eden are second match on court five tomorrow

Naomi and Eden have quite a battle. Have just saved a match point and taken the second set 10-8 in the tie-break. MTB about to start......

QF:- Naomi Broady (GBR) / Eden Silva (GBR) CR323 (149+174) [1] LOST TO Anastasia Gasanova (RUS) / Sofya Lansere (RUS) CR555 (323+232) 3-6 7-6(8) 8-10

SF:- Naiktha Bains (GBR) / Rutuja Bhosale (IND) CR424 (218+206) [2] v Cagla Buyukakcay (TUR / Viktorija Golubic (SUI) CR475 (340+135) [4]

Not on the Thurday order of play, although the other SF is - probably because their opponents play each other in the singles QF tomorrow.
