And with Billy reaching 6 wins this season (and becoming the 6th player to achieve that) the list of players who can maybe still get to that point in the final week of the season is below
Ella McDonald - 5 wins - Playing in Loughborough J3 next week. Playing singles and doubles
Paul Jubb - 5 wins - Challenger in Maia next week, plays the 2nd seed. Playing singles only
Will Jansen 5 wins - plays next week in a Latvia J3. Plays singles and doubles
Issey Purser - 4 wins - plays the J3 in Loughborough. Plays singles and doubles
Julian Cash - 4 wins - plays M15 Monastir. Presumably playing singles and doubles.
Talia Neilson-Gatenby 4 - plays J3 Loughborough. Playing singles and doubles
These are the list of runners and riders to try and reach 6 wins
Ella McDonald - 5 wins - Playing in Loughborough J3 next week. Playing singles and doubles (plays Issey round one). 6th seed. In doubles, Ella is 3rd seeded.
Paul Jubb - 5 wins - Challenger in Maia next week, plays the 2nd seed. Playing singles only. Unseeded .
Issey Purser - 4 wins - plays the J3 in Loughborough. Plays singles and doubles (plays Ella round 1). Unseeded. In doubles, Issey is 4th seeded.
Julian Cash - 4 wins - plays M15 Monastir. Presumably playing singles and doubles.
Talia Neilson-Gatenby 4 - plays J3 Loughborough. Playing singles and doubles . 5th seed. In doubles, Talia is top seed.
Looks like Julian Cash hasnt entered doubles in Monastir and thus he cant reach the 6 wins and comes off our list.
Ella McDonald - 5 wins - Playing in Loughborough J3 next week. Playing singles and doubles (plays Issey round one). 6th seed. In doubles, Ella is 3rd seeded.
Paul Jubb - 5 wins - Challenger in Maia next week, plays the 2nd seed. Playing singles only. Unseeded .
Issey Purser - 4 wins - plays the J3 in Loughborough. Plays singles and doubles (plays Ella round 1). Unseeded. In doubles, Issey is 4th seeded.
Talia Neilson-Gatenby 4 - plays J3 Loughborough. Playing singles and doubles . 5th seed. In doubles, Talia is top seed.
And then there where 3 - and all of them in Loughborough, as Paul Jubb loses heavily in Portugal and can't reach the magic 6 now
Ella McDonald - 5 wins - Playing in Loughborough J3 next week. Playing singles and doubles (plays Issey round one). 6th seed. In doubles, Ella is 3rd seeded.
Issey Purser - 4 wins - plays the J3 in Loughborough. Plays singles and doubles (plays Ella round 1). Unseeded. In doubles, Issey is 4th seeded.
Talia Neilson-Gatenby 4 - plays J3 Loughborough. Playing singles and doubles . 5th seed. In doubles, Talia is top seed.
And Ella beats Issey Purser in Loughborough, which leaves us with just 2 players left in the hunt.
Ella McDonald - 5 wins - Playing in Loughborough J3 next week. Playing singles and doubles (plays Issey round one). 6th seed. In doubles, Ella is 3rd seeded. WIll be a stretch for Ella to get a title but she is seeded in both and could just do it.
Talia Neilson-Gatenby 4 - plays J3 Loughborough. Playing singles and doubles . 5th seed. In doubles, Talia is top seed. Talia is seeded to get one title this week, but getting 2 would be an impressive effort.
Instinct says both will fall just short, but whilst they are in there is still hope

Our two contenders for achieving the 6th title both started play yesterday.
Ella McDonald - needs one title this week and won her opening singles yesterday. Starts her doubles today and plays her round 2 singles later.
Talia Neilson-Gatenby - needs to win both singles and doubles this week. Has started well though and won 2 matches in singles and is into the last 8. Starts her doubles today
Ella won her singles today and into last 8 , but lost her doubles opener. So are left with Ella needing to win the singles title and Talia needing to win the singles and the doubles
Ella won her singles QF today and so is still in the hunt at the SF stage tomorrow
Talia also won her singles, upsetting the #2 seeded Aussie, and is in the SF stage tomorrow. But she also needs to triumph in doubles and plays her QF in that later today
Ella won her singles QF today and so is still in the hunt at the SF stage tomorrow Talia also won her singles, upsetting the #2 seeded Aussie, and is in the SF stage tomorrow. But she also needs to triumph in doubles and plays her QF in that later today
And Talia won her doubles and is in both semis. Both of them cant get the requisite number of wins but maybe one of them could do it?
Well, this suddenly got very interesting - Ella and Talia both win their singles semis today and are into a head to head final.
Talia still has a doubles semi to play later.
So....If Ella beats Talia in the final, Ella reaches 6 titles for the year and qualifies for PoS
If Talia wins the singles final, she will move onto 5 wins and so will still need to win her semi and any subsequent doubles final - but she is top seed there.
The singles match could well be a winner takes all battle!
And Talia also make the final of the doubles. So Ella needs to beat Talia tomorrow to get her 6th; if Talia wins that instead and then wins the doubles final, she will obtain 6 herself.
Going to be an interesting final day in the girls events at Loughborough
