Lissey Barnett on 5 titles and near to another final. Could she make 6 this week?

If she does win, it will be with six different partners. And she has four RU trophies as well.

 I hope she makes it!

We have 12 men and 12 women now.

Once the rest of the qualifiers are completed through nov/Dec player of month and anyone else qualifying through reaching 6 tournament wins for the season , we will round out the qualifiers to the final number through a wild card vote.

Around end Nov,  I will post a new thread and ask for wildcard nominations . We will have 20 wildcard nominations for players not already qualified to vote in a wildcard or two, and I will ask board members to nominate a maximum
Of one wildcard each .

Will post that nominations thread around end Nov, in a week from nowish.

Billy , Julian and Ali Gray (edit - is Ali in action or is it Jonny?) all playing this week I believe so could drag themselves to that 6 wins line and into player of the season. Keep an eye on them this week!

charlie broom also playing and can keep in the hunt with success.

Most of this list havent managed to get far enough this week to add to their titles - Julian Cash is still in singles and doubles and Charlie in singles, but doesnt look like anyone will get to the magic 6 this week now.

Yes, overlooked Ali, but dont think Jonny has a chance of reaching 6 titles within the next 2 weeks or so!

No one going to make the magic 6 this week. 2 more weeks to go - will post updated list of those with 4

or 5 wins on Sunday

These are our top nominated players this season - Alfie has already had a nomination this month so cant get anymore, nor can Jack PJ now, but Cam, Joe and Liam all could get to 7 or 6 respectively on the back of the Davis Cup action, and become our top nominated player. Emma, Fran and Tara will top the womens list, with none of them playing again this month ( I dont think?)

Name Monthly Nominations
A. Hewett 6
C. Norrie 6
J. Salisbury 6
J. Pinnington-Jones 5
L. Broady 5
D. Evans 4
E. Raducanu 4
F. Jones 4
N. Skupski 4
T. Moore 4

The players below all have 4 or 5 wins this season and haven't qualified for Player of the Season - with two weeks left, they all stand a chance of maybe making it to 6 wins, assuming they are playing again over the next two weeks? Billy is, Paul Jubb ( I think), Ali is playing 2 weeks time - not sure about Ella Mc, Will Jansen, or Issy Purser? Cant see Luke or Evan or Julian on entry lists but that doesnt mean they arent popping up somewhere?

B. Harris 5
E. McDonald 5
L. Johnson 5
P. Jubb 5
W. Jansen 5
A. Gray 4
E. Hoyt 4
I. Purser 4
J. Cash 4

From what I can see from entry lists, the players below with a chance of reaching 6 wins this season are playing this week and next week as per below

B. Harris 5 - Week 48 Antalya M15; week 49 - Antalya M15
E. McDonald 5 - Week 49 - Loughborough J3
L. Johnson 5 - Week 49 - 27th alt for Forli 3 Challenger
P. Jubb 5 - Week 49 - 5th alt for Maia Challenger
W. Jansen 5 - knocked out week 48; Week 49 - Latvia J3
A. Gray 4 - not playing (unless entered somewhere else after South Africa called off)
E. Hoyt 4 - not playing
I. Purser 4 - knocked out week 48;  Week 49 - Loughborough J3
J. Cash 4 - Week 49 - Monastir (qualies)

As such, Billy, Ella, Luke, Paul and Will need 1 tournament win to reach 6; Issy and Julian need to win singles and doubles next week to reach 6, so v unlikely; and Ali and Evan see their chances disappeared through not playing (Evan seemed to stop mid September?)
