In the list above, Ive reserved places to players winning 5 or more tournie. For wheelchair players I will record wins at slam and super series events in singles and doubles, mens womens and quads. There are 8 of these events and they will be counted towards someone winning 4 events over the season. Im not clear enough on stature of tour events below that top level and so will leave it to super series and above.

the more I look at it the more irrelevant the ITF mens and womens rankings are to anything pertaining to player of the season - just qualies in ITF events is irrelevant really. I have taken them out of the ways of qualifying above once and for all.

For newcomers, end of the season all the top British players as voted for in our player of month votes plus a series of other ways of qualifying, get to to appear in a vote for player of the season. Ways of qualifying are in the opening post above. The player of the season votes will face off towards mid to late December 2021.
In terms of the wins in a season qualifying route- Im only counting world ranking events at whatever
Level, not uk only events such as UK Pro League. Im not sure where to draw the line on wheelchair events as Ive counted J5 juniors and ITF M/W15 events. Id said Id just include wheelchair slam and super series , mainly because of the low numbers of players on the tour, which makes me unsure of lower level events. So Rotterdam this week I wont count in the wins list for player of season purposes.
initial post updated, we now have 8 qualifiers for player of the season in december as Hannah Klugman comes into the reckoning with her great performance in May
