More Anna fans getting onto the board - is the Popescu family awake now? !

Anna gets a vote back and is still close here.

Got to stick with Dan and would be Jo second in this group.

I genuinely feel that he had a more consistent year than Jo (and I agree that she is only the GB player to potentially reach the SFs or better of a grand slam right now) and I have enjoyed watching him play. I am a big fan of both mens and womens tennis and like to see all our players do well and whilst obviously I am making a subjective choice (as we all are), I dont think my choice is affected by any other underlying bias.

31 votes placed and this is all over:

Dan 15 votes
Alfie 5 votes
Jo 4 votes
Anna 4 votes
Liam 3 votes

It was so very close but Dan and Alfie progress to the final coming up shortly

I believe you but Jo 4 votes, Heather 1 vote, Emma 2 votes tells a different story on voter bias.

I did the stats on Jo to show her 2020 performance wasn't as bad as it's perceived. For me, Jo's humble professionalism and contribution to the sport was enough to tip the balance  v Dan but as you say it's subjective. Heather's single vote is the biggest embarrassment, having at one point risen 50 places in the rankings in 2020.

Actually, Jo never was my top choice, it's the other Joe. So at least I don't have to vote against her but Jo not being in the final is a bit... well anyway!

being frank, why does every conversation become about Jo? I respect and like Jo but we had 32 players in this event. No one else combined got the traffic Jo got. Jo may well be the favourite of some and the perceived victim of many injustices but please....just read some of this stuff and realise what it sounds like.

I am pleased for Jo and glad she has her top coach back again I really do hope it works out for her in 2021, as with all the other 31 players and more in this event.

But I don't think Jo deserves more posts than the others put together - clearly there is a Jo bias in this board and it needs investigating, don't you think?
