Apparently she has just turned 17, and is restricted to 15 WTA tournaments until she`s 18. The same article (on the new-look LTA site) goes on to say she`ll be doing some European senior events, presumably on the clay, before the grass-court season in Britain.
no unfortunately. i suppose if it was then it probably be no more than 5 points. at least she's trying to make inroads into the top 20 at junior level. saw a bit of her match on the main website, she's a leftie, and from what i can tell from there she likes hit off both wings. i think she was abit agitated from not playing well, but that's the nature of the sport, you lose some and win some.
but well done naomi, you've had a great few weeks in france. now do well in bournemouth.
Also, according to the lta site, and on here i think, that she going to playing senior tournaments, does that mean challengers or WTA qualies? Plus, do you think the lta may give naomi a wildcard into any of the grasscourt tournies?
