Some good performances, particularly in Hamburg or Rome will see him most likely seeded at RG. He has few if any points to protect, there will 3 or 4 of the top 32 players who dont play RG because of injuries. From the varoius reports o here, he will have to pick up his level though!
Andy will certainly have to pick up some wins, ideally in Rome and/or Hamburg to have a chance of being seeded for Rolland Garros.
Although there are many withdrawals in the lead-up tournaments, I'd be very surprised if there are any more than 3 or 4 top 32 withdrawals from RG.
Don't forget that since Rome and Hamburg are compulsory counters, Andy's scores there will replace his existing 18th score. Currently that is 15 points, so if Andy say went out in the 1st round of Rome and got 5 points, he would actually lose 10 points from his score. So he's in effect defending more in Rome and Hamburg than 1st round losers from those tournaments last year.
