SF:  (2) Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski CR 51 (24+27) defeated Fabrice Martin & Hugo Nys (FRA/MON) CR 92 (25+67) by 7-6(4) 6-7(2) [10-4]

Thought they were going to blow it at the start of the MTB.

So basically - if Melzer and ERV win their semi, they qualify. If they lose, Jamie and Neal need to beat their conquerors (Brkic and Cilic) to qualify themselves.

No pressure Marin, but it all basically comes down to you and your partner!!

And so the last O2 qualifiers are secured, sadly not Jamie and Neal as ERV and Melzer won their semi today.

Jamie and Neal though will play ERV and JM in the final tomorrow, would be good to get their first win together. Assuming it is played as the opponents presumably want to get over to London asap.

One would assume Jamie and Neal will be traveling as first alts. Is their still a question on Joes participation.

Article in paper yesterday about Joe, our unsung top player, and all suggested he would be playing.

what is the tiebreaker to separate teams? Jamie and Neal would be level on points with Melo and Kubot if they win

My assumption is tournaments played. Melo & Kubot have played 13 to Neal and Jamie 15(16 after Sofia).

I think it is something like that, Melo and Kubot have been confirmed as qualified regardless but would be interesting to know

According to the ATP app the doubles final has been added to tonight's schedule.

It's now saying Jamie & Neal have won by walkover. Interesting way to win your first ATP title as a pair.

That was always a danger once the other pair qualified. ATP fault I'd say, inevitable conclusion. Sorry for Sofia organisers.
