I was genuinely torn between our elite players (Dan, Jamie/Neal) and Fran's overall strong month and Alfie who dominated in his genre and it is so hard to compare. But Alfie did someting genuinely noteworthy and I think deserves my vote in this final

Given Frans amazing last minute comeback to beat Liam last month, I'd say this is wide open still.

I generally vote for whose tennis I've enjoyed most during the month. Not really who's done best. I realise that's not quite the intention and it should possibly be more on pure achievement but, hey, that's my definition of player of the month.

But it does mean that livestream and my freetime schedule come into it heavily. (Although some livescores and results get you really involved, even without livestream - I voted for Jack PJ in one of the rounds and there was no streaming there). But Anton's claim, for instance, was easy because I thoroughly enjoyed his matches in Germany and I hadn't seen a single ball of Jodie or Fran. 

Anyway, of this group, it's clearly Dan. Just on the above.

 And that's cool - we all have our own reasons for voting someone player of the month, it could be a great tournie, a strong consistent month, one fabulous win, entertainment value, something extra curricular...all are valid and make the vote interesting as we come from different angles. 

Dan is my fave player currently, but I voted Alfie as I felt it stood out as an achievement, but that was a personal view. 

Interesting to see how it pans out and glad we all have a view without anyone falling out! Other boards note!
