Week 43 - ITF (W80) Tyler, USA Hard

Just to say Ann Li ended up winning that match and now cracks the top 100 for the first time, so well done her. Back to back runner up spots for Kostyuk, but still a decent 140 points for her, especially in these times, and she's also in the top 100 now.

The Charleston W100 qual draw should be out within the next hour or so, so it'll be interesting to see if Naomi can sneak in again like last week.

Edit - no singles action for Naomi in Charleston this week.

Ha, that was actually pretty enjoyable. I had it on very much in the background to Man Utd vs Arsenal, and at 5-1 I was kind of hoping the Polish girls would take a few games just to extend/delay it a bit, so that I could watch the end of the football, get a bit of scran, and then settle down to Kostyuk vs Li on the big TV after, but of course one game led to another, and then the set. The twins did so well to win it from 4-8 down in the MTB. Well done them. As Ken Thomas says, I hope they can get a WC into Charleston if a place opens up.

They did get a WC into Charleston, and they have only gone and drawn Naomi + in R1.
