Well, an LTA bod was quoted as saying regarding Italian home tournaments at various levels and the progress of Italians, "just a coincidence".

Dan, a little outclassed today.

Watched Sonego a few years ago at Wimbledon qualies v Ernests Gulbis. He showed promise but was quite vocal with his Italian temperament annoying Gulbis at times. He seems more
contained and focused now, very talented with good coaching support.

Another solid week for Dan though.

To be honest it looked like a three minute break for Dan to gather himself, during which the physioterrorist tortured his left shoulder (obviously a dispensable body part).
