Fran not in this match - now a break down in the second at *0-2, having lost the last seven games.
Harriet suddenly woke up at *3-3 and raced away with the set.

Harriet got the break and more importantly then held her serve.

No messing from Harriet today, done and dusted in 78 mins and that match could've been a banana skin

It's a real shame there's been no streams these past two weeks (especially this week when I'm on holiday, and pretty much housebound...), so many good looking matches, particularly between promising young players, and that big KK-K match yesterday.

A few of those CD has recently referenced were in all-teen R2 battles:

Montgomery vs Danilovic (still 19 and has a full WTA title)
Wang vs Zakharova
Burel vs Snigur

Dodin still there, and of course, the British interest.

2 QFs have now been filled:

xxx vs (8) Buyukakcay
(5) Dart vs (3) Samsonova
xxx vs xxx
(2) Dodin vs (JR) Montgomery

With all the UK Pro series, various BOTB, British tour events being streamed and obviously the more prominent recent stuff, I've kind of got used to watching pretty much any match that I would have wanted to these past few months. Ah well, at least Macon W80 have a couple of streamed courts.

Tight match in the doubles semi-final. Beth and Harriet lead by a set at 6-3 4-3*, but it is 6 breaks to 4 so far, so not over yet.

SF:- Harriet Dart (GBR) / Sarah Beth Grey (GBR) CR408 (195+213) [2] def Cristina Bucsa (ESP) / Olivia Nicholls (GBR) CR630 (269+361) [4] 6-3 7-5

Could be a repeat of last week's final, as Anderson and Ponchet are in the second semi to be played next

Not a repeat of last week after all, as Anderson and Ponchet lost in a MTB. So Janicijevic and Montgomery have beeten the #3 and #1 seeds on the way to the final.

F:- Harriet Dart (GBR) / Sarah Beth Grey (GBR) CR408 (195+213) [2] v Selena Janicijevic (FRA) / Robin Montgomery (USA) UNR (885+ UNR/583)
