Has she retired?

She made it up to #12 in the juniors and has wins over Wimbledon champ Noskova, along with star of the season Eala and the finalist in Memphis last week, Vidmanova. But hasn't played since 2024.

Sorry, that might have been me putting her in my top 10 for the Predictions Competition. I don't think she ever played again!

(I pretty much did the same for Naiktha's career last year, although she at least has bounced back with renewed energy in singles. Mind you, if she gets into our top 10 this year I will be sending some very unhelpful vibes her way).

It is strange though, how Matilda just fell completely off the radar with no announcements, just assuming she gave up when she didn't manage the transition from juniors to seniors.
