OER also has official ranking lists going back to then. Where the dates are at the top of the page, you can use that to go back in time (the womens goes back to the start of 2015). On the last normal list prior to lockdown on 16/3/20, 110 points would have ranked 407-409 and 117 points, 389-391.

Just comparing her to the other u18 wunderkinds, there's only Katrina Scott and Maria Timofeeva who've got any significant points from 2019: Scott 46 out of 145 points, and Timofeeva, at least 20 out of 129 points. Timofeeva has a few other two point or one pointers from 2019, but I don't know if they're counters in her overall ranking.

Matilda is still a junior and has now broken into the top-400 so worthy of a little shout-out

Is Matilda injured? No sign of her since the end of August.

I'd been meaning to ask about her too.

She played the USO juniors in early September, so that is only five weeks ago. She's turned 18 so may be preoccupied with school now.

Im not sure she did TA! The itf activity shows her as last playing juniors at USO but in 2021! Unless they arent up to date?

but she did play womens tour this year and indeed Prague in early September so same time frame and yes recent !

Matilda hasn't played for quite a while but her name does appear on entry lists for 31/10. However her ranking is

plummeting down. She did not take part in US Open junior slam as far as I remember. Although she was able to take part in Juniors

she did not choose to do so.

As she is 18 I do not understand how she can be preoccupied with school now

It seems I am another one who shouldn't comment before I am fully awake. Ignore my earlier post as it is all wrong !

 Oops! no

Never mind. Your usual comments are interesting and relevant

I know someone suggested there may be an issue with the LTA but I really think Matilda might be missing out on the mutual support and encouragement she'd get if she played in some of the UK tournaments. Those players who played in the early tournaments at the beginning of the year seem to have pushed on really well.

And as of today, 21/10/21 (a nice date if ever there was one), Matilda beats a girl ranked WTA 328

Israel,25k: R2: MUTAVDZIC, Matilda (GBR) (Q) 599 def NOSKOVA, Linda (CZE) (8) 328 6-3 2-6 7-5

And then made to the final, but couldn't quite get the title:

F: MUTAVDZIC, Matilda (GBR) Q 599 lost to PAQUET, Chloe (FRA) 2 165 3-6 3-6

As of March 2023, Noskova is ranked 51 and Matilda 641. What happened to Matilda as she was the 2nd most promising  junior to Emma at one stage?
