It'll be Niemeier for Harriet next. Big match under way at the moment to decide who will meet the winner of Jodie and Xinyu Wang - Kaia Kanepi v Cagla Buyukakcay

Kanepi seemingly making very light work of that (without looking past just the score), so looking like a steep step up for whoever advances in Jodie's match.

Kanepi wins 6-3 6-1

Jodie with the first set 7-6(4). She was *2-4 down at one stage.

4-4* in the second set. Jodie has a BP for *3-0, but couldn't convert and then found herself 2-4* down. Hopefully a big push here to get over the line in 2.

She had 2 successive BPs at 5-5* to serve for the match, but has dropped it 5-7 so into a decider. Hopefully she keeps her head up and doesn't fold easily.

Deciding set TB. Will be a tough one for either to lose.

fortunately its not Jodie and to be fair she really should've wrapped that match up an hour ago.

Credit though for Jodie sticking with it and battling through. Well done!

Well either way, it's a cracking win. Even had to save a MP during the 3rd.

She'll probably have nothing left for Kanepi tomorrow (3 hours exactly), but that's right up there with the best win of her career IMO. Great stuff.

What a nail biter.....

Huge well done to her....

Hope her ankle and everything is holding up.

I agree that Kanepi will be a huge favourite, probably more so after the length of this match.

But its been a cracking week for Jodie whatever.
