Harriet has a 1 point counter - so up 29 pts.

Sarah Beths' lowest counter is 10 - so up 20 pts.

We shall see in a weeks time what this means. biggrinbiggrin

Can anyone explain what reaching the final means for Harriet's ITF ranking and is it relevant in any way now? I found an ITF table on the web, but it suggested only points are allocated for qualies in 2020, is that correct? Or am I misreading this?

www.itftennis.com/media/4174/itf-points-explained.pdf

If that is correct, then Harriet gets no ITF points for this week? And it probably doesnt matter anyway?!

I think that ITF rankings are totally irrelevant for most of the GB women - once they have a WTA ranking it doesn't matter any more.

Assuming no-one else moves -

Harriet would be up to WTA 185 (+11)

Sarah Beth would be tied with Robin Aderson on 404 pts WTA 206up (+7)

Cool, so ITF is an irrelevancy, which is fine as it had been irrelevant to me all along!

What would have happened if Jodie had made the final? Would her qualifier have been rescheduled or would she have had to play twice or pull out?

Its irrelevant if they have a WTA ranking but is still useful for the up and comings with no rating

She would hopefully have grabbed one of the SE places into the main draw.  There are usually 2 places kept open for these circumstances at this level.

Yes, from my understanding, as emmsie says, it'll be useful for someone like Jasmine Conway who (I believe) just got her first itf point a week or so ago. As the acceptance list goes wta points, then itf points, then other (national etc). So Jasmine should find it easier to get a spot in qualis.

But utterly irrelevant to someone like Harriet.
