QR1: Harriet Dart WR 151 (CH 121 in January 2019) vs (q5) Mihaela Buzarnescu (ROU) WR 127 (CH 20 in August 2018)

The winner will play Bara or Mrdeza. The other seed in this section is (q14) Kucova.

 

QR1: Samantha Murray Sharan WR 191 (CH 165 in September 2013) vs Arina Rodionova (AUS) WR 165 (CH 116 in October 2017)

The winner will play (q11) Vikhlyantzeva or Zvonareva. The other seed in this section is (q16) Niculescu.

The seed in the bottom half of this section, Kucova, is out. She won that recent Prague clay 128 event so I thought she might might have been the favourite to advance.

Given that Harriets 2nd Serve is shocking and she only has 47% 1st serves in, I'm gobsmacked that she is ahead. If anyone is watching has her 2nd Serve improved or is her opponent not at the races.
