Great news. Most of the Q spots seem to be against circa top 100 seeds, or Caty McNally, but there is a Q vs Q spot, so hopefully she'll land there and have more of a chance to back up these results, but great that's she qualified for this level of draw.
I see Gavrilova is also in quals and playing her first event for over a year.
I think its fair to say Sam isnt much of a clay courter perhaps. Some good money to be made if you make the Slam qualies so quite right for trying it out.
Eden did land in the Q vs Q spot. Plays Daniela Seguel of Chile, 27 year old clay courter, currently ranked 227. Should still be tough, but better than what it could have been. She'll (Daniela) obviously be pleased with her draw.

L16:- Sarah Beth Grey (GBR) / Eden Silva (GBR) CR372 (210+162) v Caty McNally (USA) / Whitney Osuigwe (USA) CR327 (41+286)
Winners may face the top seeds in the quarter finals
L16:- Samantha Murray Sharan (GBR) / Julia Wachaczyk (GER) CR315 (192+123) v Ankita Raina (IND) / Rosalie Van der Hoek (NED) CR240 (125+115) [3]
Coco Gauff gets a lot of attention but Caty is a very decent player for 18 (in the top 50 doubles, just outside top 100 for singles) - I think Whitney is too but I'm less familiar. I don't have too much hope for our ladies there.
