Q1: GREY, Sarah Beth (GBR) 604 (CH=426 2018) v HIBI, Mayo (JPN) 2 172 (CH=157 2020)
Q1: MURRAY SHARAN, Samantha (GBR) 4 181 (CH-165 2013) v MONNET, Carole (FRA) WC 535 (CH=534 2020)
Q1: SILVA, Eden (GBR) 485 (CH=424 2019) v MURAMATSU, Chihiro (JPN) 8 212 (CH=205 2020)
The draw could have worked out better.

Yes, I just thought it might have been better if one of the others had got the WC rather than getting a seed each in Q1.

They had to draw a seed. There are just two qualifying rounds and all the QR1 matches are seed vs non seed.
So no avoiding a relatively hlgh ranked player among the 16 seeds even if they both did get top 8 seeds.
Overall, combining that with Sam's draw and, as the addict said, them even getting into the singles draw, and it's not bad at all.
Edit: though I do see that such was the rate of late withdrawals that the q15 and q16 seeds are 'just' ranked 389 and 434 respectively.
And playing Japanese on clay probably isnt the worst they could face in terms of background on clay...
I was forgetting that it was a MTB 3rd set in ITF qualifying. Eden 3-1*
