Heather should be seeded in the main draw.

Emily (with Heisen) and Naomi (with Routliffe) have made the cut for the doubles.

Hopefully Harriet can play a little better than last week and come through this one.

Harriet is 2nd on court 1, following Tomova vs De Vroome (which starts at 9am). I'm not sure if Amazon are covering qualies, but they are being streamed.

A few withdrawals due to continued involvement in the US Open has moved the top 3 Q seeds into the main draw, including Gasaparyan who Harriet/Eraydin could have met in the FQR, so they will now play the winnner of the all Aussie Ar Rodionova-(alt) Perez clash. Perez currently leads that 7-6 *4-3, but this a great opportunity for Harriet to make the main draw.

Tomova also moved into the main draw, and the Q spots are Tomova, Minnen, Doi (8), and Tig. Heather has a pretty tough R1 match against clay courter Sorribes Tormo, probably one of the harder R1 matches she could have got IMO.

Harriet warming up (on Bet365). Perez won 7-6 7-6, so Harriet won't meet anyone inside the top 247 on her potential path through.

Heather is seeded 5 and draws the highest ranked unseeded player Sorribes Tormo.

I didn't realise SST was the highest non seed, so unlucky in that respect. I suppose at least Heather has won their last 2 meetings, both of them around this time last year (albeit both on hard). Possibly slightly better than drawing a Schmeidlova, who won pretty easily in their clay Fed Cup match before lockdown.

Harriet has recovered from 0-2* to lead *4-3.

Harriet takes the 1st set and then goes down a break in the 2nd. Is it a tiebreak 3rd? assuming so.

Traditional third set. Hopefully there's still a bit of life in this one.

Maybe not, 6-3 2-5*.

Her right arm is very heavily strapped

Doesn't look like the strapping is a hindrance.
3-0* in the third

Nicely done. Heather has both her singles and doubles tomorrow. Emily has her doubles.
