Yay, that's one into the SF.

360 ranking points so far ( remember just half of normal Slam doubles points ) will replace their 180 points from last year.

So if say joe and rajeev win this event, would winning the French and AO give them a grand slam?smile

Anyone recall me tipping a Dutch player to win a doubles slam last year...?

Yes, I recall your kiss of death. Hopefully it's still working

Bad start from Jamie and Neal, 2 breaks down. First set could be gone soon.

Semis are now set and a decent set of players in the last 4, albeit seedings not really followed:

MEN'S DOUBLES - SEMI-FINALS
R. Ram (USA) [3]
J. Salisbury (GBR) [3]
vs.
W. Koolhof (NED) [8]
N. Mektic (CRO) [8]
MEN'S DOUBLES - SEMI-FINALS
J. Rojer (NED)
H. Tecau (ROU)
vs.
M. Pavic (CRO)
B. Soares (BRA)

Joe and Rajeev beat Mektic and Koolhof earlier this year in Adelaid and in 2 sets. tennis 247 rates Koolhof and Mektic to win in 3 though...we will see!

7 of these 8 players have at some time been individually ranked in the world top 5. And Koolhof has a CH 12.

6 have previously won Slams, Ram & Salisbury and Rojer & Tecau as winning pairs. Both Koolhof & Mektic are seeking their maiden Slam title.
