How many British wins will we get in the US Open?

Time for a poll! 

As per previous slams, how many wins will we get? Remember,  a doubles pair like jamie and neal winning counts as 1 win,  not 2. 

 

We have 4 mens singles, 2 womens singles, 7 mens doubles in 6 pairs and I'm not sure on womens doubles, maybe just 1 player? Someone can advise! 

 

Doubles draws are just 32 pairs so maybe less doubles wins than previous slams?

I've realised this should probably go in the tennis predictions section, if one of the mods is able to move it.?

Just to note, in the AO in January, we achieved 21 wins, but that included mixed doubles and a 64 draw mens doubles. We got 4 mixed wins and 4 round of 64 mens doubles wins, although we have 6 "pairs" this time around (whereas we of course had just 4 in the last 32 in the AO). So 21 probably translates into around 13-15 territory if we where to equal that level of performance

 Turns out we have no womens doubles players according to responses on  the main  event thread, so we end up with:

 

4 mens singles

2 womens singles

7 mens doubles players (6 pairs)

Hmm, 6 pairs in mens doubles - there will be some match-ups quite early then.

I've gone for 12 wins, but perhaps a bit over optimistic on the singles and pessimistic on the doubles !
