Heather had 4 set points in total, but Jo saved 3 of those with big serving.

Difficult to watch this, not because of the tennis which is actually of a good quality, but because I'm so torn. I'd love Heather to break her streak but would anticipate her losing in round 2, whereas Jo can go deep.

Did feel gutted for Heather dropping that set. The second set point on Jo's serve at 6-5* she was just way too passive, and same in the tiebreak she went for it to go up 6-3*, Jo serves two screamers and then on her serve is just too defensive.

Second set going Jo's way quickly.

She had 6, 2 at 6-5* and then 4 in the breaker

OK, I missed a couple of games, trying to keep an eye on Andy, who was at an alomost identical score.

Scoreline is harsh on Heather, who competed really well in the first set, even if always a little behind, as the stats show.

Heather looks gutted. She should have won that first set and she knows it. Jo may well have come back anyway, but you never know. Heather was playing at a level that could have picked up a win here, unfortunate draw and hopefully she can sneak a win at the French as she's done plenty of times in the past.

Cirstea next.
