Not easy but Dan comes through that set 6-4.

Which pleased me, as Moutet has always been a bit of an irritating drama queen

Haha. Dan also fond of drama now and again.

So Dan lost the second set and, very nearly, the third and then there was rain????

Didn't see any of that - do hope he's managed to put himself to rights with a good night's sleep.

Mind you, always been a real fan of Felix so glad that, if Andy had to lose, it was to him.

Watched all of Dan's match last night. Frankly it was shocking. Will suit Dan that he had to go off I think. There was 40 (forty) unforced errors between them in that 3rd set before they went off.

Lots of petty drama too but in the first two sets the level was decent.

Dan was a break up twice in that third set...God Moutet is annoying.

For the record:

L64:  (15) Félix Auger-Aliassime (CAN) WR 21 defeated Andy Murray WR 115 by 2, 3 & 4.

From the Beeb.  Interesting that he's going to risk playing at Roland-Garros.

Actually Jaffa, I have to say that I don't agree that the level of tennis was all that  bad in the third set.  Perhaps the level dropped somewhat, and Dan certainly missed very good opportunities.  I haven't checked the stats, but 40 unforced errors suggests really poor play, and I don't think this was the case. They are both attacking players, and there are many definitions of "unforced error".  I look forward to watching the remainder of the match tonight.

I'm pleased to have tennis to watch whilst I'm still not working.  I just need to get used to staying up late!

This is my fisrt post for a while. Hello to all my friends!

As are the commentators, continually saying how much we should enjoy the "colour" and "excitement" provided by "players wearing their hearts on their sleeves" (aka tantrums/ gamesmanship) ...

Maybe it depends on the heart hmm

Moutet's outbursts in French (not from last night but in general) are terribly childish and rather spoilt bratty.

Really not endearing.....

Hi to SevieMcQ - good to see ya'......

Although, sorry, I tend to agree more with Jaffa, Dan was pretty poor (and I'm basing that on the first set which he won!).
