Joe+ are into a third set, 6-2 6-7(5)

Ken+ would like a third set, 4-6 3-4*

Note, as pointed out in that thread itself, we were forgetting that there is a US Open men's doubles thread. So purely doubles chat or results should go there.

Kyle takes the 1st set against Djokovic in a TB. According to the ESPN commentators, since Wimbledon last year, Djokovic had won 19 of 20 TBs. So that is a huge effort from Kyle, seeing it out with an Ace in SP.

Djokovic looks very vulnerable right now although he often shakes that off quickly. Great opportunity all the same

Yes, just checked. From last year's Wimbledon final, 19 out of 20. Superb TB record, and some folk will say that TBs are lotteries  disbelief

Kyle will do rather well to get into a second set TB. *1-4

Djokovic takes the second set by 6-3.  I guess normal service has been resumed.  hmm

Done better than I , for one, expected.

Cam should be able to beat Coria, who was banned for allegations to not reporting match fixing 2 years ago.

Not over yet for Kyle, but a break down in 4th makes it seem likely.

Cam is 4-0 ahead on Coria, 1st set.
