 Not a given: look at the complete lack of support from NFL owners (sensitive word, in the context) for Colin Kaepernick, and even with "owner" support there is a large proportion of "the establishment" in the US that is not at all supportive for these protests.

Yes I agree totally re the NFL and precisely why I stuck to basketball & baseball.
