Pretty convincing, and not too stressful. Big match tomorrow though, whoever wins tonight.

From what I can see she is certain to be at least 13th at end of this event, with a chance of top 10.

QF: KONTA, Johanna (GBR) 8 15 v SAKKARI, Maria (GRE) 13 21

H2H 2-1 to Jo.

That excludes the Fed Cup match which Jo won.

How many ranking points does Jo get for reaching the quarter finals.

190 points, and replacing a 1 pointer. OER shows her at WR13 live rankings, and can't be overtaken this week.

Boys and girls, there's a fail here ..... we don't even have Jo's result!
But I gather she won..... :)

Probably the most relevant of their matches as well!

Tennis abstract rates Sakkari as favourite this time, and Jabeur as favourite to make the final, even though Jo is top seeded player left in the bottom half.

Ha, 6-4 6-2 but someone else can do seating formatting.

They might be taking into account the fact that Sakkari has beaten both Coco Gauff and Serena in the same tournament.

All Jo's victories over Sakkari have been in the UK, where she would have had plenty of support, which may have influenced the odds.
