Amanda has drawn a local 18 year old in R1 - Fonte, ranked 909. Not too much relevancy to gauge on, but I remember her beating Vic Allen quite comfortably about a year ago.
Clara Tauson vs Clara Burel is a bit of a standout W15 R1 match, both have won recent W25+ titles, and have either won or reached a jr slam final within the last 2 years. Thinking about it, I remember them meeting at Glasgow W25 earlier in the year.
I was just coming back to say that this Fonte was a WC, I missed that the first time, but hopefully Amanda can get to the QF, and while just an exho, I'm sure she beat the top seed Bucsa in that recent clay event where she reached the final against Sorribes Tormo, so maybe she can have a bigger run than her seeding here, but one match at a time.
Yep, it's easily W25 level. A good mix of top 300 players, and some promising youngsters - 4 of them have drawn each other in round 1 (Q Zheng vs Vecic the other).
Doesn't look like well get a scoreboard either (on the actual stream), but easy enough to hear the umpire, and looks like it'll hopefully be a comfortable match for her, 5-0*.
Although the WC is on the board after the time it took me to write that, with a hold to love.

Yeah, I've got it on (very much) in the background while working, so not the easiest to follow without having to look at an external sources which Jon provided.
I was hoping to see Tauson vs Burel later on, but they aren't on centre court, but at least it is another option to have on later in the week when there could be some more decent match ups, once most of the inconsiderate local centre court hoggers have been eliminated, haha. Although saying that, we wouldn't have the option to watch Amanda without Fonte's presence.
Her potential opponents are one of the two other matches on the streamed court today. French Q vs another Portugues WC. French lady is 1/5 fave (vs 10/3), but if the WC can cause the upset (although not major) then Amanda would probably be streamed again in her next match.
