I wondered whether he would've been better off missing last week and getting some rest but having looked at the prize money he would need to improve his placing by about 6 to gain financially. I'm guessing he did the sums and decided he would make more by playing last week.

Mind you, he is also down on the British TOur entry for next week, now in as 3rd seed.

So it looks like he is just playing and seeing where it all ends up - if he needed a break, next week would seem the obvious one, the prizemoney is much less. Clearly he is just playing and hoping!

I guess he might have rented some accommodation in the south west London/surrey area for a few months or so. Due to the amount of tennis going on. So makes sense to continue to play if you have that expense going out. He played British Tour at the NTC the week before the first UK Pro as well. He got knocked out so had a day off before the first UK Pro tour event.

Only watched the 2nd set of Fery v Johnson but pretty emphatic 2nd set. Looking forward to see how Arthur does this week. When he played British Tour, UK pro week 1 and then British Tour and won all 3 the field wasnt as strong as this. So will be really interesting to see what his level is. Matches against Peniston and Ward probably will tell us.

James Ward tomorrow, really looking forwards to that. This could be a really interesting week for Arthur and I was glad to see him do well in that 2nd set against Johnson.

Hats off to Julian Cash, he has pushed both James Ward and Ryan P very close these first two matches, unlucky not to get a win in one of them.

Just 2 points to show though and probably out of running for semis now, but hope he can manage a decent end position and take some confidence from decent displays

Will be interesting the 2 points could be 2 big points. Unlike previous weeks where there was often an obvious winner in each group I reckon it could be a lot tighter this week. I'd be surprised if anyone wins all 5.

He does seem to have had a decent few weeks and grown through the series, last 4 last week for example.

Lucky he has got a Dad who is an ex Wimbledon Champ wink
