Thank Jon. Does every player get something though? Even 12th place?
The tournie website says there is $500k total prizemoney on offer, someone did advise the exact split per event, I believe it was $30k per event, mens and womens, which would leave c $100k per mens and womens in the final. So that would suggest a decent amount of loose change for places 2-12! I suspect the prizemoney is quite close per position, eg $5k, $4,500, $4000 etc down to maybe less than a $1k at lower positions, but still pretty every player gets something.
Telstar and cya are posters that seem to have good insights on the event so maybe able to give you (and me!)a more accurate answer!
I was literally this second going to post the same TA, ha. Was having a look at Bet365 and saw Nadia was now the favourite in her match (now vs Emily as you say), instead of the 7/1 she was last night (against Beth).
I don't blame Beth either, and to be honest, the groups have been a bit more evened out now IMO. A bit better news for the likes of Naomi, Eliz, and now almost certainly Nadia ahead of next week's classic.
Naomi - Lissy
Eliz - Emily Ap
Nadia - Holly
Olivia - Victoria
Abigail - Erin
Emily M - Danielle
It's obviously a big change for the group losing a circa 600 ranked player who has scored 27 points from 3 events, to be replaced by someone fairly likely to be in the bottom 2, but to me, the two groups look much more balanced now, although in terms of general interest, the week is losing a higher profile player.
Particularly good news for Nadia because she'll surely get the 4 points she needs to secure her Classic week place, and if Lissy (or someone else not already qualified) won the title, you'd probably have thought Freya would be more likely to secure a WC than Nadia.

thanks telstar! So someone like Billy Harris who has come 4th, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd and played all 4 weeks would have made $17,500 so far. And more to come this week!
Do you know the Classics week breakdown by chance?
Olivia N beat Abigail 6-4 7-5, Holly won the final 10 games to beat Danielle 6-3 6-0, and Eliz and Naomi are probably having what neither wanted after their exploits last week, and a tight match with most of the games reaching deuce. Already past the half our mark and still on serve in the first set, 3-2* Eliz.
Naomi with the first breakthrough, *4-3.

Hmm, this week kind of does feel more second rate now, with a sense that it's just sort of waiting for the Classic week to come round. I guess it does open things up for some of the less fancied players to go on a run. Going by Vics summer results so far, Holly will probably be favourite to finish in the top 2 now, and we saw Emily Ap lose to Nadia and Alice last week, so if someone more random can top the group, avoid Naomi in the SF, then you just don't know.
Guess that means we won't see Alicia next week, unless she got wind that she had a WC secured?
